What are pull up banners called?
Pull up banners go by several names: roll up banners, retractable banners, rola banners and banner stands, and they’re all the same product. A printed graphic rolls out of a spring-loaded cassette base and clips onto a support pole behind it. Pull it up, click it in, done. When the event ends, the graphic retracts into the base and the whole unit slides into its carry bag.
What size is a pull up banner?
The standard pull up banner in South Africa is 850mm wide by 2000mm tall, and wider units of 1200mm and 1500mm are available for bigger displays. The standard size fits through any doorway, stands at eye height, and works for most stands and receptions. Go wider when the banner has to anchor a large stand or carry more than one message. Econo, executive or double sided: choosing the unit
The graphic is only half the buy. The base under it decides how long the banner survives:

How long does a pull up banner last?
A good quality pull up banner lasts years with basic care, and the printed graphic is the wear part, not the base. Retract the banner slowly instead of letting it snap back, keep it in its bag between events, and store it dry and upright. When the graphic finally scuffs or your branding changes, re-skin the cassette and carry on.
