Need a banner printed in Johannesburg? We print PVC, mesh and fabric banners in house, any size, hemmed and eyeleted and ready to hang. Send us the artwork and a deadline and we will quote you, usually with turnaround inside a few working days.
Banners we print
A banner is only as good as the material it is printed on, so we match the stock to where it is going:
- PVC banners — the workhorse. Tough, waterproof and bright, for shopfronts, fences, launches and roadside.
- Mesh banners — perforated so wind passes through. The right choice for tall outdoor sites and building wraps where a solid banner would catch the wind like a sail.
- Fabric banners — softer finish, no glare, ideal indoors for stages, backdrops and reception walls.
- Pull-up and roll-up banners — the portable stand that packs into a bag and travels to every expo. Our roll-up banner guide walks through where they work best.
Every banner is finished the way you need it: hemmed edges, eyelets where you want them, pole pockets, or rope and ratchet straps for big outdoor jobs.
Indoor or outdoor — it changes the banner
This is where a lot of cheap banners fall down, literally. An indoor fabric banner put up outside will fade and sag within weeks. A solid PVC banner stretched across a windy gap will tear at the eyelets. We use UV inks and weather-rated material for anything going outside, so the colour holds and the banner survives a Johannesburg summer. Tell us where it is going and we will spec it to last.
Sizes and artwork
We print banners at any size, from a one-metre pull-up to a building-side mesh. There is no fixed size list because the right size depends on the space, so give us the dimensions and we will produce to fit. For artwork, supply vector or high-resolution files set up at scale. Not sure if your file is big enough? Send it over. We check every file before printing and flag anything that will look soft blown up large, rather than printing it and leaving you with a blurry banner.
Why Total Print for banners in Johannesburg
Sixteen years in, we have printed everything from an R800 run of business cards to custom projects over R800,000, so a banner order sits well within our stride, whether it is one pull-up for a market stall or fifty for a national rollout.
We print in house in Johannesburg, so there is no middleman adding days and markup to your job. That is the difference when you have an event on Saturday and you are briefing the banner on Wednesday. You talk to the people running the machine, we deliver across Gauteng, and we ship nationwide for the rest of South Africa.
If your banner is part of a bigger event setup, our event branding service brings banners, signage and branded gazebos together, and our large format printing page covers everything else we print big.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a banner cost in Johannesburg?
Price depends on the size, the material and the finish, so there is no single number. A small indoor pull-up is a different job to a six-metre outdoor mesh banner. Send us the dimensions and where it is going and we will give you an exact quote, not a ballpark.
How quickly can you print a banner?
Most banners are ready within a few working days, and we can turn deadline jobs around faster. Brief us early if you have an event date and we will work to it.
What material is best for an outdoor banner?
PVC for most outdoor jobs, or mesh if the site is tall or windy. Both use weather-resistant material and UV inks so they hold up outside. We will recommend the right one once you tell us the location.
